Press Tour Roundup

as the television network bring their pre-season press tours to a close, i am going to paraphrase all of ausiello's live blogs and fill you in on all the most interesting tidbits.

NBC:
* Saturday Night Live alum Amy Poehler has signed on to do a show for NBC, but it will not be the much talked about Office spinoff. that idea is pretty much in the shitter for now. and i think its a good thing!
*Friday Night Lights will get a 13 episode season no matter what- even if only 4 people watch it.
*Heros will have a 2 hour season opener. no one will watch it. i will laugh.
* If your interested, there are MAJOR FNL spoilers at ew.com (ausiello's files). i stopped watching the show after season 1 so they mean nothing to me, but if your a fan then u need them!

CW:
* I gave you a bit on the new 90210 a couple of days ago, but i read something else that was very interesting coming to CW- a new Blair Witch Project reality show- with contestants being stranded in a haunted place and then "killed off". winner gets some stupid amount of money like $666 dollars. imaginative. the only reason it caught my eye was the word "Blair" for obvious reasons.
* Producers and Exec's at CW are pleased with One Tree Hill's performance last season- ill be honest- i didnt watch it until this past season. its really a good show! or maybe me and my roommate are just obsessed with Lucas and Brooke getting together. this is good news for future seasons though!
*The suits are not worried about the rummored "ailing health" of the network, rather they are trying to figure out ways to crack the traditions of the Neilson Households, namely with pop culture hit Gossip Girl.

thats it for now!
