if youre anything like me, then you love brittany snow. you know, the girl from Hairspray and John Tucker Must Die. if youve seen those films, then u know that they have a generally happy tone, and are certainly not heavy. not true about her next project, On the Doll. it is a story about victims of child abuse. in the clip i saw, brittany is on the bed with some guy and a pair of dice. she rolls the dice and how ever many the number is, she punches him in the genital area that many times.
um, im female and even i winced in pain. verrry weird and disturbing scene. you can tell by that and also the trailer that this movie is a lot darker than any of the other films shes done. anyway the movie made its rounds at various film festivals across the US and won a few awards as well. its being released online (and i think on dvd) on June 17.
brittany will also be seen in Black Water Transit and The Vicious Kind, both of which are in the post production stages.
