wow!

i just read that The Dark Knight (aka the Batman movie with Heath Ledger) has sold out so many shows (already!) that is has added some screenings at 3:00 am on Friday July 18th! thats insane. i could never imagine seeing a movie at such a strange time. 12 am ok, but 3? are people really that desperate to see this? im def going to see it sometime, but ill wait until after all the weirdos are done like dressing up and waiting outside for hours to get tickets....

also, some unrelated notes...

1.keira knightley's movie The Edge of Love, and it has premiered in the UK, but so far there is NO SET RELEASE DATE FOR THE US, which sucks.

2. a while back, i posted a link to the trailer for He's Just Not That Into You, and like i thought, the movie is getting badddd buzz. its release has been pushed back to Feb of 2009! thats a bad sign for any movie. if you want proof, Prince Caspian was a movie that was pushed back, and it did alot worse than was expected!

3. id give you more, but im super tired and i have very busy weekend ahead of me. i probs wont update until sunday or monday! but by then ill be able to give you some details about the SAG strike, which will take affect next week should no agreement be reached before then. in addition to my being tired, my internet is slow and im getting really annoyed about it.

I will be at the 3am showing with my son. Of course, if it was up to me, I would never go toa 3am showing of any movie.... I mean, after all the goddammed movie will be released on DVD at some point so what's the rush?
But for the sake of my 14 year old son whom is stil at the age where being at the premier of a mega-movie release is cool;
doing so at 3am is even cooler.
Remember; kids at that age think its ultra cool to stay up till the sun comes out
For them, it would be even cooler to "break-night" at the movies seeing the latest
installation of Batman
