VDT update

for anyone who is interested in the status of Voyage of the Dawn Treader, prepoduction began in mexico about a week ago. as we know, VDT is going to have somewhat of a nautical theme, and most of the filming will be done in mexico or similar tropical climates.

the budget for this film (at least the mexico portion) is perportedly 100 mil. i have a feeling VDT will do better than PC in the box office as long as they market it correctly. the planned release as of now is may of 2010, which is around the same time iron man 2 is supposed to come out. bad idea- disney heads better re-think this idea with the knowledge of how PC has done domestically.

my suggestion? november of 2009/2010. narnia is a winter series.

imdb does not give any useful information on the casting- seeing as they have william moseley and anna popplewell on the bill, when both have gone on the record multiple times stating they WILL NOT be back in the narnia series. barnes, henley, and keynes will be back.
